Meet Dr. Brian Pugh

Dr. Brian Pugh is the founder and driving force behind Hamilton Mill Endodontics. A native of South Carolina, Dr. Pugh received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Clemson University and then continued his education at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree. After six years practicing general dentistry in Columbia, SC, Dr. Pugh entered a rigorous two-year residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he completed his specialty training in endodontics. This sets Dr. Pugh apart from others in the field of dentistry as an expert in root canal therapy and related root end surgery. Since graduating from dental school in 1996, Dr. Pugh has performed more than 30,000 successful root canals.

Dr. Pugh and his wife Leah live in Alpharetta and are proud of their two sons. Tristan is a graduate of the University of Georgia and pursuing a career in dentistry. Brooks is a senior at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and preparing to matriculate into college.  When he is not in the office, Dr. Pugh enjoys traveling, scuba diving, tennis, and most importantly being a husband and Dad. Dr. Pugh looks for opportunities to serve others and has traveled as far away as India to provide dental care to some of the world’s poorest people.
